We are excited you are interested in the Legal Hub of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN)!

We are a worldwide network dedicated to the universal adoption and implementation of legal systems that recognize, respect, and enforce the Rights of Nature (RoN).

About Us

The Legal Hub exists to establish a body of legal experts committed to providing counsel, conducting informative research, and developing practical instruments to effectively advance Earth-centered laws across the globe. Our collective goals include promoting timely and effective analysis of current legal issues concerning the care of our common home, developing the philosophical and practical basis for alternative legal paradigms worldwide, and serving as a valuable resource for global partners advocating for greater legal consideration of the entire Earth Community.

What We've Achieved

Since our inception, we've achieved significant milestones. We've provided Amicus Curiae briefs for the rights of the Yaguareté (Jaguar) in Argentina and consulted on a citizens' initiative in Chile to include the Rights of Nature in the upcoming Constitution.

Your Role in Our Hub

As a fellow advocate and legal expert, we invite you to actively participate in our endeavors. We are also seeking individuals interested in holding leadership positions within the hub, and we welcome your expression of interest. Your valuable contributions will help shape the future of earth-centered laws.

Membership Meetings

We hope you will be able to attend our membership meetings. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow members, share insights, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue within the Legal Hub. Our hub also has a WhatsApp community so you can actively engage with other members.

If you have any questions or ideas, or if you are interested in leadership positions, please feel free to reach out at [email protected]. You can also follow us on social media. Your participation is vital to the success of the Legal Hub.
